More About Me.

I have been in the vision field since I graduated from Madison College in 2013 with an Optometric Technician degree. I became a Vision Therapist in 2019 which led me on a path to Z health. I am certified in R phase of their curriculum. I also have Certifications in breathwork and Vagus Nerve work.

My work is informed not only by my education but by years of training in listening, intuition, and by my own experience of having chronic Lyme disease for over 20 years. I understand where you are coming from and am passionate about you regaining your health and wellbeing.

When I'm not thinking about how the brain and body works I enjoy doing artwork, dancing and spending time with my son and our cat Milli.

I started working with Cassidy because I was struggling with occasional migraines triggered by bright lights, which came on after a concussion in 2017. The headaches were not frequent enough for medication, but they were often enough that I was always anticipating one. We started by taking care of the basics - I needed to eat lunch at lunchtime, look away from my computer, reduce my stress. She helped me recognize when the the eye strain was building so I could step away and work through techniques to reset. We worked on drills, with one eye at a time and with both eyes, to improve eye strength and range of vision. Through a slow and steady, methodological approach over several months, I found myself being less anxious around light, both the headaches and the fear of headaches reduced. I can now appreciate the sun reflecting off the watering can. I can look at my watch on a sunny day. I haven't had a migraine in months, even as I've been allowing more and more bright light into my life. My experience with Cassidy has changed my life. - Carla R

I feel she brings to this work her whole heart of compassion, her ability to listen to you deeply, and an empathy that guides each session. Cassidy was knowledgeable and personable. She went at the perfect speed for me to understand and follow along. Although this was a virtual class she was very present and perceptive how the students were doing. She would coach students as if they were the only person in the session. The exercises and the material helped open up in my body some old blockages of the past. I am so grateful to Cassidy and the program.

I came to Cassidy at a time when my lifestyle and stress were starting to compound into health issues. I had a lot of fear around suddenly feeling vertigo and visual distortion. Cassidy walked me through theory to help me make sense of the experiences, and then through exercises that helped me keep my balance and relieve my eyes. Exploring what impact different subtle movements made on my wellbeing was fascinating, and profoundly useful. I still do many of the homework exercises, and feel my balance secure within my body and sight.
